Kelly brings over a decade of experience to Burgeon, including work with both national and boutique law firms, where she has represented hundreds of long-term care facilities and individuals appealing denials of Medicaid benefits, health insurance coverage, short- and long-term disability claims, and Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income Applications.
- Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School (where she volunteered with the US Department of Justice and was recognized in Who's Who Among American Law Students).
- Kelly is admitted to practice in South Carolina, Virginia, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Kelly holds an inactive bar license in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. She is also certified by the Dept. of Veteran's Affairs.
- When she's not working, Kelly volunteers with the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program and the SC Vulnerable Adult Guardian ad Litem Program, a pilot project between the USC and SC Department of Health and Human Services, and spends her "free" time with her two daughters, her son, and husband at and around the beaches of South Carolina.
