In her eclectic legal years of practice, McKenzie has gained knowledge and experience in litigation and appeals, administrative law, real property law, contracts, natural resource law, and personal injury defense.


  • A native of Roswell, NM, McKenzie practiced in the area of civil litigation in California for four years before returning to her home state. Since her return to New Mexico, she has served as an administrative prosecutor for the New Mexico Medical Board, insurance defense counsel, and counseled clients regarding their water rights, which are sacred in the West.

  • She received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA. She is a graduate from New Mexico State University with a degree in political theory.

  • She is admitted to practice in New Mexico and California.
